Sanctity of Human Life Sunday reminds us of the God-given value of every life. As Psalm 139:13-14 declares, “For thou hast possessed my reins: thou hast covered me in my mother’s womb. I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well.”
Last year, the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade, marking a monumental step in the fight for life. This historic decision has saved countless lives, but it also intensified the battle. Big Abortion has doubled down, pushing for abortion-on-demand across the states and working tirelessly to strip away protections for the unborn.
Every victory in this fight is a reminder of God’s hand at work. Yet, as states rush to pass amendments that enshrine unrestricted abortion, it’s clear the work is far from over. These measures distort the meaning of “reproductive freedom,” offering no true choices or support for women while eroding the sanctity of life.
