In the wake of Hurricane Milton, I wanted to provide an update on how our NCLL team is faring.
First and foremost, thank you for your prayers and concern. Many of you have reached out, and we deeply appreciate it.
We are grateful for God’s protection over each of our staff members—no one was personally injured. As we all know, these storms can devastate both people and property, and our community has been profoundly affected.
As a longtime Florida resident, I’ve never experienced anything like the back-to-back hurricanes that recently hit the Tampa Bay area. Our member services team was evacuated to Jacksonville but worked tirelessly to assist our members, even with concerns about their own homes.
Thankfully, the team has returned, and despite unprecedented power and internet outages, we are fully operational again. However, the journey is far from over.
The storms caused significant damage, placing immense stress on our staff and resources.
Many of our employees are still dealing with personal recovery efforts, including home repairs and daily life disruptions. Through it all, they’ve shown remarkable resilience and faith.
How can you help?
Prayers: Please continue lifting up our team and their families as they work through the challenges of cleanup and recovery.
Financial Support: NCLL has faced extraordinary operational costs to remain functional during this crisis. If possible, please consider additional financial support to offset these unexpected expenses. Your generosity ensures we can continue providing services without increasing costs for our members.
Patience: We appreciate your understanding if responses or services were delayed. We are committed to fully serving you and are now back on track.
We are so grateful for your support, especially in moments like these. Our prayers are also with all those affected across North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, and Florida.
If you or your family need assistance, don’t hesitate to reach out.
Thank you for standing with us.
